About the Role
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for assisting the Supply Line Manager in the procurement/management of purchase requisitions, parts inventory and service, as well as streamlining the reverse logistics spares supply chain to improve inventory health/DOI. In this role, you will drive continuous improvement with suppliers & on-site warehouse to improve quality, data integrity, and supply chain inventory health. Additional opportunity to work on optimization of supplier logistics, delivery performance and system improvements.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Monitoring and resolving various supply chain performance issues
2. Purchase order fulfillment
3. Expediting late parts/zero bin items
4. Addressing settlement issues, good receipt/invoice receipt, and reconciliations (including TSM/SIMI recon)
5. Data entry
6. Following up on past due orders
7. Issuing part numbers for new parts
8. Inventory parts set up and management
9. Other activities as needed in support of the Supply Line Management team.
