About us
We are a Christian preschool that loves to teach children about God and so much more. We have class Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm. Kids of the Kingdom enrolls children ages two through five.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a background in childhood development, experience working with young students, and a foundation of Christian faith as outlined in the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 (https://bfm.sbc.net/bfm2000/).
**Duties:**
- Provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters children's creativity and love for God
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to support each child's individual needs and development
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Certification in early childhood education is a plus
