Overview:

ESO Consultants is seeking qualified candidates for the position of SCCM Packager. The SCCM Packager will be responsible for packaging general and enterprise applications for SCCM and Windows Store Distribution across Windows desktop and server platforms.

Job Title: SCCM Packager

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with application owners and project teams to gather requirements and create scripted and non-interactive installations of Windows software for delivery through Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

- Perform reporting, SQL management, and other SCCM-related responsibilities within Infrastructure, Imaging, and Desktop Teams.

- Integrate configuration changes and settings per requirements and update tracking system with progress and notes.

- Experience in packaging for Windows 10 with MSI and MSIX and ability to function in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

- Strong proficiency at packaging applications into MSI (Microsoft Installer) format using AdminStudio.

- Expertise in creating transforms, custom actions, and user profile settings for existing packages.

- Ability to remediate applications for use on Windows 7/10 64-bit with no administrative privileges.

- Proficiency in remediating application install issues using shims and creating custom scripts and utilities (C# preferred language).

- Strong communication skills with quality customer interaction abilities.

- Deep knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 7 64-bit operating systems and troubleshooting applications.

- Willingness to work off-hours and night shifts may be required.

- Familiarity with business process flows related to applications, Windows OS's, workflows, as well as creating test plans, test cases/scenarios, and action item logs for daily tasks and project milestones.

- Ability to generate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
