The Atlantic is a nostalgic 62-room motel located in Southampton. We are recently under new ownership and management, and we are looking to grow our dynamic guest services team!

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Manage guest reservations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, utilizing the hotel's property management system.
• Process payments, invoices, and other financial transactions accurately, following established procedures.
• Maintain and update guest records, ensuring their confidentiality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
• Assist in managing room inventory, making sure rooms are properly cleaned and prepared for new arrivals.
• Provide excellent concierge services as needed.
• Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to effectively communicate them to guests.
• Attend to emergency situations calmly and follow established procedures for guest safety and security.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• 1 years of hospitality experience (preferred)
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (a must)
• Must have a great attitude, and be motivated to work quickly and efficiently
