POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the position will measure and inspect products made in the production process. The candidate will become familiar with the use of Calipers, Micrometers, and Thickness Gages among other measuring equipment to perform product studies. The candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate tactful critical thinking skills. The candidate will work with all levels of the organization to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of FCC product and work environment. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis on Excel. The position is a 1st shift with occasional overtime. The candidate must be able to work in a Team Environment and communicate effectively with other team members across all departments.

LIST OF DUTIES

The following are the primary list of duties for which each operator is responsible:

• Shear strength testing (Each lot of material)
• Porosity testing (Each lot of material)
• Gage check (Required each work day)
• Shear plates
• Record thickness and weight from papermaking and impregnation samples in the coordinator files (Each lot of material)
• Storing and discarding test and trial samples
• Input Zeta potential data
• QC hold retest

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years of work experience
• Must be computer literate with emphasis on Excel
• Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and the ability to work in a Team Environment

Pay: From $14.75 per hour
