Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping seniors and individuals with special needs maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Monitor and manage behaviors of individuals with special needs, including those with autism
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Transport clients to appointments or outings as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to adapt to different environments and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
