Treasure Chest Books and Canyonlands Publications, a regional wholesale book distributor, is looking for a seasonal warehouse worker to work full-time in our Livingston, Montana location.

Duties are varied and include shipping, receiving, stocking, etc. The successful candidate will be efficient and conscientious, have good written and verbal skills, and display outstanding attention to detail.

Applicant must be able to work quickly and independently but must also be a team player; we are a small, tight-knit crew with a main office / warehouse in Tucson.

This full-time, seasonal position is available immediately. Applications accepted via e-mail only; no phone calls.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive items into inventory
• Look up items in the inventory system
• Pack orders that sales rep. coordinates
• Clean / load / prepare freight truck on Thursday / Friday (for Monday-Wednesday deliveries)
• Clean warehouse, occasional maintenance and groundskeeping
• Coordinate delivery times with shipping companies
• Greet customers for warehouse pick-up orders
• Occasional help with deliveries
• Clearly communicate issues and seek solutions with other staff and Tucson home office
• Manage your time with minimal guidance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Typing and computer literacy required
• Sage100 experience preferred
• Driver’s license and means of transportation
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• General office experience a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• High school or equivalent considered

Seasonal Schedule

April 1st - November 1st

Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed
