FMC Health is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with First Assist or Physician Assistant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in office and working as first assist in the OR on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medication and perform procedures as allowed by state law
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Current State of Texas license as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Board certification as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Prior experience as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is a plus
