We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-up Operator with experience working on Waterjet Machine Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision tooling, setting up, and operating machines to produce high-quality precision metallic parts.

Responsibilities:

- Set-up and Operate OMAX Waterjet Machine Center to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications

- Select the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes and improve overall efficiency

- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a set-up operator, with experience operating a Waterjet Machine center.

- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and metallic materials

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
