Summary-Press Maintenance Industrial Electrician

The Press Maintenance Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment in the press shop which includes presses, transfers, automation, de-stackers, blanking lines, cranes, scrap conveyor controls and electrical components installed in dies.

Your Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and program of Siemens S5 and S7 PLC's, Beckhoff PC based controls and other PLC and control systems.

Troubleshoot robot / robot controllers and perform teach-ins on new jobs as required

Troubleshoot of servo drives and other drive controllers

Repair and maintain press shop equipment

Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance

Work on press shop projects as needed

Who we are looking for

Journeyman Electrician / Electronic degree from a recognized, accredited year college, or equivalent combination of education and experience or the completion of an electrical / electronic type apprenticeship program

Must be able to work with minimum to no supervision

Work may be done near moving mechanical or hydraulic operated parts, or on occasion in precarious places, which may involve work in elevated locations, confined spaces and around fumes or airborne particles; there may be the risk of electrical shock and vibrations. Able to work at heights above 30 feet
