ITA Kitchen is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Barback. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. You will assist in maintaining cleanliness, stocking inventory, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and disposing of trash.
• Replenish bar supplies and stock inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and utensils.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service.
• Collaborate with bartenders and other staff members to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the bar.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations, including beverage preparation and service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including cases of liquor and kegs.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess a valid food handler's permit or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.

Pay: $14.38 - $16.16 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
