Job Summary:
A student-centered, community and technical college located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, Nicolet College is seeking a Support Specialist to join our Academic Services team. The Support Specialist provides administrative support and coordination for all teams under the supervision of the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Academic Services, in coordination with the Dean of Academic Support. This position is also responsible for serving and providing a variety of assistance to students, employees, members of the public, and other areas of the Academic Services team as needed. The specialist will perform a wide variety of duties, both collaboratively and independently, and may be asked to work occasional evenings and weekends to support the team or college events.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Ability to use/learn the College’s software systems to create and maintain databases, student information, spreadsheets, reports, purchase requisitions, mandatory state reporting, and team informational materials.
· Superior customer service skills, including the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Required Qualifications:
· Associate degree
· Minimum of two years of work experience in an office setting.
· Previous experience and proficiency working with MS office applications at an intermediate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Experience working in a higher education setting.
· Experience working with students and diverse populations.
· Experience with grants and/or grant management.

- Compensation:
The typical starting pay range for this position is $21.01- $26.86 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes a comprehensive benefits package
