Responsibilities
•Retain existing customers by providing excellent customer experiences
•Help Budzisz Agency grow by using techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
•Become familiar with accounts and claim activity
•Proactively cross-sell to provide additional coverage to existing customers
•Prepare quotations and applications to close sales
•Manage assigned accounts including marketing to carriers, binding coverage, issuing renewals, producing evidence of insurance, etc.
•Help maintain common workflow
•Troubleshoot claims and billing issues
•Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads and contribute to meeting production goals
•Appropriately documents conversations with clients and carrier representatives and updates all agency systems when necessary
•Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
•We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor's degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as well
•Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is highly preferred but candidates with the appropriate skills should still apply, training is provided
•Applicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days
•Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.)
•Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills
