This position is responsible for packaging appropriate quantities of food to meet menu and recipe requirements.

Daily responsibilities and duties:

-Dietary

-Distribution

-Food supply

-Multitasking

 -Needs to be super organized and clean

-Stays motivated while working alone

-Must be able to use different sites online

Able to lift 50-pound totes to deliver to the Villas

Able to tolerate working outside for parts of the day

Responsibilities and duties:

Villas tasks for the day

Keep work areas clean

Package and label food

Put away truck deliveries

Show up to work on scheduled time and ready to start the workday.

Package and distribute quality food according to a planned menu and recipe.

Distribute food according to meal schedules and department procedures.

Supervise storage and handling of food items and supplies.

Maintain a clean and organized storage area.

Be polite to all staff, residents, and residents family members.

Two person assist when lifting bins and crates.

Pick up bins, Tupperware, crates, grocery list etc.

Wear proper clothing and shoes for work, along with name tag

Safety and sanitation:

Maintain high standards of quality and food production, sanitation, and safety practices.

1. Operate tools and equipment accordingly to safety standards.

2. Follow established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety.

3. Keep garbage collection containers, work areas neat and sanitary always.

4. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to

supervisor.

5. Maintain personal appearance and hygiene.

Preferred minimum qualifications:

special knowledge/ skills:

1. Ability to understand and implement food preparation and safety instructions.

2. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures

3. Ability to safely operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move throughout the workday, (including the ability to kneel, stoop, bend, reach and climb) and be able to stand for up to 100% of an 8 hour shift.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and push pull up to 40lbs

• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.

• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must have Valid Drivers License

• Must have current Finger Print Clearance Card

• Must pass Background Check

• Must provide proof that you are free of TB
