What You Will Do: Assemble and test prototypes and finishing designs with under the direction of an engineer or manager. May prepare detailed estimates of quantities and costs of materials and labor required. Interact regularly with customers and co-workers. Maintain records for company and customer. Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements. Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information. Minimum Required Qualifications: This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing High School education or equivalent One year experience with the following: Performing mechanical assembly work Operating a manual lathe/mill Welding (mig and stick) Single and 3 phase electrical work Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics Working knowledge of hand & power tools, overhead crane Speak, read, and write English fluently.
