Peralte-Clark’s summer internship program offers a great experience for individuals working toward a degree in civil engineering or construction management. Our internship program will introduce you to real-world engineering projects in the transportation industry. Peralte-Clark strives to grow our intern’s knowledge of the engineering industry by providing practical, educational opportunities to participate in the daily operations of our company and to observe how the industry works firsthand. As an intern, you will assist with active roadway construction projects and will be exposed to the wide range of services that our firm has to offer.

The Job:

Interns spend their summer working alongside skilled engineers on a wide variety of tasks. Each intern is assigned a mentor fromour seasoned staff and regularly assists with engineering design, drafting using MicroStation, traffic data collection, and field observation. This “hands-on” approach complements an engineering education with in-house classes and allows students to gain a background in practical application of these skills.
