Job Overview:

Dermatology practice seeks Medical Assistant for clinical duties. Experience in a medical office required, dermatology experience preferred. 4 days per week, approx 30-32 hours weekly. Must be proficient in EHR system.

Duties:

- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with patient education and provide support to patients and their families

-Complete medication prior authorizations, as needed

Qualifications:

-Medical Assistant with experience in Dermatology preferred

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
