Axiom Path is Hiring a Product Owner Near Atlanta, GA

Product owner plays a crucial role in driving the development and success of our products. PO is responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to define, prioritize, and communicate product requirements. PO is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities:

• Connecting with the customer: In close partnership with Product Management, applies a customer-centric mindset along with design thinking tools to guide the ART toward delivering solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable.

• Contributing to the Vision and Roadmaps that guide solution implementation.

• Communication: Clearly communicate product vision, requirements, and priorities to the development team, stakeholders, and executives to ensure a shared understanding and alignment.

• Managing and prioritizing the Team Backlog: Maintain a well-defined and organized product backlog, ensuring that user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical details are accurately documented and regularly updated.

• Story creation: Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and the development team to gather and refine product requirements, ensuring that stories are well-formed and aligned with product strategy and support continuous value flow.

• Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.

• User-Centric Approach: Champion the user's perspective throughout the development process, advocating for solutions that deliver the best possible user experience.

• Release Planning: Collaborate with development teams to plan and coordinate product releases, considering dependencies, resource availability, and overall project timelines.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, testers, and other team members to ensure successful product development, resolve challenges.

• Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members to continuously improve the product and refine future development efforts. PO seeks quantitative and qualitative feedback to develop a comprehensive understanding of where solutions are and are not providing real value.

• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to define and validate acceptance criteria, ensuring that the final product meets the required quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, technology, engineering, etc).

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.

• Agile certification as a CSPO, SAFe POPM or similar is preferred.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions.

• Experience with product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Agility or Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with user experience design principles and techniques.

• Problem-solving orientation and a proactive attitude.

• Knowledge of the industry and market trends related to the product domain is a plus.
