Overview

Radiant Waxing in Denver is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Waxer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional waxing services and capable of leading a team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, client care, and operational efficiency. This role requires flexibility with some night shifts and at least one weekend day. As part of our Management team, our Lead Esthetician will directly impact the training and development of our Esthetician staff as well as support the Management team in scheduling, training needs, and operational functions within the Studio. The Lead Esthetician, in addition to management duties, will be responsible for fulfilling scheduled services, client follow-up, and fulfilling sales goals of memberships/packages, product sales, and retention rates.

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee all wax specialists, manage day-to-day studio operations, and ensure the studio's cleanliness.
• Conduct performance reviews for wax specialists at 90 days, 6 months, and annually.
• Implement and follow up on coaching plans for underperforming wax specialists.
• Monitor services performed by wax specialists to maintain consistency.
• Provide feedback to wax specialists on their job performance as needed.

Job Duties:

• Execute all supervisory responsibilities listed above.
• Perform inventory control of studio supplies and products; report all purchasing needs to management.
• Communicate the needs of wax specialists to management.
• Provide scheduled services and additional coverage as needed.
• Follow up with clients to develop repeat clientele.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and weekly lead meetings.
• Participate in special events outside of normal working hours.
• Handle cash drawer changes as needed.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:- Licensed Esthetician with at least two years of professional experience.- Over one year of experience in waxing.- Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
