Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Premier Birmingham Dentistry. As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will work closely with the dental hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a smooth and efficient dental hygiene process. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting with dental procedures, maintaining sterilization.

Responsibilities:
Seating and dismissing patients, getting patient records, patient history, assisting the hygienist chair-side, taking x-rays, radio graphs, taking impressions, pouring up models, intraoral scanning, set up/break down of operatories, fabricating temporary crowns/trays, meticulous sanitation and sterilization, and treatment planning

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience, x-ray certified and excellent computer skills

Professional and friendly with excellent verbal and clinical skills

Possess a positive can-do attitude that is self-motivated/directed as well as a team player

Ability to be flexible with a desire to learn new skills and technologies and an open mind to new ideas

Must have excellent attendance and punctuality

Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
