Fieldpiece is hiring a Technical Services Associate to join our customer service and repair team! You’ll provide technical support on our products to customers and distributors as well as test, diagnose, and returned products including root cause failure analysis. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and communication skills, and loves working with mechanical/electrical devices and instruments to find and solve problems.

This position is in our Suwanee, GA facility and the hours are from 7am – 4pm. You’ll be the first hired for this role in GA and will work independently and with a team of 6 in CA.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical and user support to customers via phone and email and document interactions.
• Assist customers, distributors, sales, and internal teams with product repairs and usage.
• Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and find root cause failure analysis of all Fieldpiece products.
• Process returns in the RMA system daily, accurately, and execute 24-hour turnaround of shipments.
• Perform RMA product testing, repairs and testing to support investigations and new product development utilizing established testing procedures and protocols.
• Track and maintain repair B-stock inventory, replacements parts to avoid shortages.
• Works closely with Quality Department to identify trends in product problems and communication on RMA cases.

What You Bring

• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to listen, ask the right questions, build trust, and communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
• Strong critical thinking, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills with mechanical / electrical products.
• Some preferences include bilingual, EPA Certified, HVACR knowledge, and/or forklift experience.
• Commitment to excellence, details, and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
