Job Title: Skilled Assessor

JOB PURPOSE:

To assess the technical abilities and knowledge of potential TMMAL employees applying for various technician openings.

DUTIES:*

• Administers technical test focused on the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, and Pnuematics/Hydraulics.
• Evaluates and reports candidate’s performance according to set standards and rating scales.
• Prepares equipment and documentation prior to assessment.
• Identifies and communicates equipment needs accordingly.
• Behaves in a safety minded manner.
• Attends assessor meetings as necessary.
• Enters test scores into computer.
• Creates/maintains files of tested applicants in appropriate categories.
• Assists in scheduling testing.
• Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the examples necessarily include all of the duties performed.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2-year technical degree or at least 3 years’ experience in related field.
• Familiarity with computers and Microsoft applications.
• Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
• Willing to conduct assessments at the designated Assessment Center in the Huntsville location.
