Surfboard Factory Hawaii Retail Sales Manager

We are the largest surfboard shop in Hawaii with our own Factory building and selling boards for some of the top brands in Hawaii as well as the world. Retail Store Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Store operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing company procedures in conjunction with GM and Operations Manager.
• Manage store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees tasks to be completed daily.
• Manage the sales staff leading by example, and training employees on processes and procedures.
• Promote optimum staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees to reach company goals.
• Ensure availability of merchandise and actively work to keep the sales floor stocked at all times with the assistance of sales associates
• Work with the GM and Operations Manager in ordering product, reviewing merchandising activities, and determining any needed sales promotions.
• Work with marketing staff to produce advertising, merchandising, sales promotions, and display plans.
• Protect merchandise by implementing security procedures and measures.
• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements and showing professionalism.

Store Manager Education Requirements and Experience Preferences

• High school Diploma
• College Degree Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience
• Surfing ability preferred
• Surfboard sales experience preferred
• Must live on island and ability to reliably commute to Kapolei

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
