Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Inspections Technician I to join our team.
Summary:
As an Inspection Technician I, you will be integrally involved with the process of helping customers go solar. The Inspection Technician must be responsible and able to manage their own schedule to ensure that all necessary tasks are followed through on, with minimal outside management.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspection coordination in accordance with the authority having jurisdiction requirements.
Meet with City Inspectors at the job site to complete onsite inspection.
Daily management of Plan Revisions that needed to be delivered on-site.
Analyze, prepare, and validate the sites before an inspection is performed.
Coordinate inspection visits with all necessary parties, i.e., Inspectors and Homeowners.
Review inspection reports and communicate with the Permitting Coordinator.
Ensure all documents are properly filled out and correct.
Manage the Inspection Coordinator email and NetSuite account.
Communicate regularly and maintain a positive relationship with Inspectors.
Execute any other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
0 - 1 years of experience in general construction
Certified Electrician license is preferred, but not required
Valid driver's license
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Solar or Construction related background is a plus
Effective time management skills
Physical Requirements:
Alternate sitting or standing at will
Crouching or bending
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable with heights
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Able to travel up to 40% of the time
