Chicago (Gold Coast) Family Needs After School Nanny
A Chicago family is looking for an after-school nanny for their 9-year-old daughter. The general schedule will be Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm (end time 7:30 on Tuesdays) but the ideal candidate will have some flexibility to shift work hours some days. 12 hours a week guaranteed. Basic duties include: school pickups, snack preparation (possibly dinner at times) for the child, loading/unloading the dishwasher and bringing in packages/deliveries.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and work as a team with the parents. The family is also looking for someone who can connect and form a bond with their daughter, not just expect her to just entertain herself.
The nanny will need to have a drivers' license, clean driving record and their own vehicle for school pickups and activities. They do have a dog (35 lb retriever) in the home. Start ASAP for the right candidate!
