Job Summary: Plan, direct and coordinate safety and health programs to control risks and losses for Acrisure's clients. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in conjunction with Risk Management department: Attend Focus Plan and Claim meetings to develop safety plan with risk managers and client. Review loss exposures with clients to determine root causes to develop accident prevention programs. Support client by assisting and partnering with client to help develop programs that work best with their respective culture to improve safety performance and claim activity. Work with client: Develop positive working relationships with clients, insurance carriers and internal departments. Provide clear, respectful verbal and written communication with both internal and external clients, keeping the goal of customer service as the priority. Provide client safety services in accordance with mandated regulations and brainstorm gaps in servicing needs. Perform audits of overall safety program and prepare written report of findings and recommendations for correction of unsafe conditions or gaps in programs. Oversee the development and implementation of improvements in safety efforts for the client. Maintain regular contact with clients, including coordinating and scheduling of meetings within Outlook. Create and maintain product (presentations, training materials, etc.) quality according to industry standards and specific client requirements. Effectively manage client plans assigned in Epic. Other duties: Coordinate and assist in all sales and marketing functions for Acrisure. Keep informed regarding industry information and regulatory changes to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Work as a team with other staff members to achieve production and agency goals. Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management. Education and/or Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in General Industry and/or Construction. Must be able to understand of OSHA standards and articulate said standards to client in an appropriate manner. At least 2 years of experience in training (classroom and other will be considered). Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) able to quickly learn other software or applications as assigned. Preferred certifications: Authorized OSHA Outreach trainer, ASP/CSP, OHST/CHST, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Qualifications: Problem Solving: Under limited supervision or direction, anticipates and solves problems for self and others at all levels of the organization. Analyzing/Evaluation: Independently examines complex information and/or situations, evaluates potential impact, weighs options, and makes recommendations. Decision-Making: Decisions are guided by precedent and interpretation of applicable rules and regulations. Decisions may have a significant impact on others and the organization. Discretion/Confidentiality: Work responsibilities frequently concern confidential and/or sensitive information always requiring the use of discretion. Teamwork: Teamwork and cooperation are essential to the successful completion of own and others’ job duties. Read/Write/Speak English: Ability to perform verbal and written communications face-to-face and in-group meetings. Creativity: Job duties are widely diverse, and frequently require conceptualizing, planning, and implementing. Task Handling: Job duties are widely varied, and frequently require attention to and/or coordination of concurrent jobs. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including some overnights. Must have a strong sense of motivation and ability to work independently from home and/or in the field. Sense of urgency and a drive to meet deadlines are required. Occasionally moves office equipment weighing 25 to 50 pounds requiring reaching above/below the waist, pushing and/or pulling movements and lifting. Occasionally required to bend/stoop or kneel to access cables or other items below desk. The person in this position may occasionally work in dusty and/or noisy work conditions. Outdoor elements, including high and low temperatures may be experienced occasionally.
