Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our Agriculture Machinery company. As the Parts Manager, you will play a vital role in our operations by overseeing the inventory and distribution of parts needed for our ag equipment and machinery customers. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all parts are readily available, properly organized, and efficiently distributed.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain inventory of parts, ensuring that they are well organized and easily accessible
· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and negotiate competitive pricing
· Collaborate with our equipment and maintenance teams to identify and fulfill parts needs
· Create and maintain a database of parts, including relevant specifications and details
· Develop and implement efficient systems and processes for parts ordering, receiving, and distribution
· Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including sales, exchanges, and returns
· Proactively identify potential parts shortages and take necessary actions to prevent delays in equipment repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a similar role within the agricultural industry
· Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment, machinery, and truck parts
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
· Excel in a fast-paced work environment
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong attention to detail
· Proficient in using computer programs for inventory management
· Proficiency with an ERP or Equipment Business Management Systems
· Work in an office environment and occasionally outside
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility
· Lift/Carry 50 lbs.
· Operate a forklift
· Work 40 hours per week
· Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus but not required
Pay is negotiable, DOE
