Lulu's Piano Studio is Hiring a Piano Teacher Near Leander, TX

Lulu’s Piano Studio for students 3-12 years old is currently seeking a Piano Teacher to work as a part-time employee providing music theory and performance group lessons to students. We’re immediately hiring a teacher with experience teaching piano.

  • Location: Leander, Cedar Park and Roud Rock area
  • We pay $45.00-$50.00/hour
  • Lessons time between 9:00 AM-6:00 PM depends on the schedule
  • Each group lesson is 30 minutes long, 3 children in each group
  • Group lessons are weekly
  • We do the scheduling and billing

Position Responsibilities:

  • Have your own transportation
  • Teach group lessons using studio curriculum
  • Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere
  • By teaching theory and technique using music that students know and love

Requirements:

  • Fun, engaging personality with a great sense of humor
  • Passionate desire to teach music
  • Attention to detail, patience, comfortable being around young children
  • Has 2 days available to teach to start
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
  • Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
  • Experienced performer (either solo or group)
  • Experience working with youth or beginning musicians
  • Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
  • Ability to pass a background check

Lulu’s Piano Studio offers the opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment. We handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing, and other business aspects of the group lessons so that you can focus on teaching.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
