Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, and monitor team members.
  • Direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of quality customer service and floor merchandising.
  • Monitor employee compliance with operational standards, along with other company policies and practices.
  • Manage and make appropriate adjustments to staffing needs, inventory levels, and production cost control.
  • Complete weekly inventory control and processing as needed.
  • Reinforce customer service standards and ensure all employees are focused on always serving the customer.
  • Assisting General Manager in operational and administrative duties including maintenance of files, invoices, and all required documentation.
  • Manage store operating budgets or specific KPI’s; review and approve purchases as needed.
  • Monitor equipment and purchase of materials to maintain upkeep
  • Maintain high quality cleanliness and appearance of the stores 
  • Immediately and respectfully respond to guest requests; report guest complaints to immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaints.
  • Establish performance goals according to MaxFit Market’s philosophy for employees’ assigned role.
  • Perform personnel management functions that include maintaining discipline, administering performance reviews, and escalating any concerns or issues.
  • Review sales reports, production reports, expenses, labor costs, associate attendance reports, and other reports and documents related to company operations.
  • Review and make changes to personnel assignments with the General Manager and staff to ensure that the best employees are in each position.
  • Make recommendations to the General Manager according to production/service needs and production sales plans.
  • Coordinate workflow between zones and work areas.
  • Review monetary variances and discrepancies with the General Manager and/or owner.
  • Review accounts receivable and assist with collection and payment of invoices.

Qualifications

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to problem solve as issues arise
  • Preferred knowledge of sport supplements
  • ServSafe Certified recommended
