Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Brake and Alignment Technician to perform brake system repairs and wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, experience in automotive repair, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Brake System Repairs: Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems, including brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and hydraulic systems.
• Wheel Alignments: Perform precise wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling, tire wear, and safety.
• Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with brake and alignment systems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of completed work to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs, provide estimates, and answer any questions they may have.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used, labor time, and customer interactions.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Brake and Alignment Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of brake systems, wheel alignment procedures, and diagnostic tools.
• Certifications: ASE certification in Brakes and Alignment is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision in all repair work.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
• Customer Focus: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
