Position Description: Massa Products Corporation seeks a Systems Administrator to help build and maintain our IT computing and network infrastructure in an unclassified and classified environment and provide end user support as needed. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of Windows, Office 365, network fundamentals, and the experience or desire to work in a small-business (design and manufacturing) environment. The candidate must be team-oriented, have strong communication skills, and have the ability to work independently to develop novel IT solutions to enhance productivity and reliability of computing resources. The candidate must also be comfortable dealing with end users and with CUI, export-controlled, and/or classified information. This position is full-time onsite and requires occasional off-hours support for IT emergencies. Clearance: Top Secret Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Support installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of computer and network equipment
• Support Windows based platforms, applications and users
• Review and test new hardware and software applications and make recommendations for purchases
• Help design and implement configuration management and monitor systems and networks
• Assist in configuration of network devices such as routers and switches
• Provide technical support for staff and back-end system users, which includes troubleshooting networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
• Manage user access through Microsoft Active Directory group policy
• Collaborate with other personnel throughout the organization to enhance technology and support practices
• Plans, coordinates, and implements voice and data technology strategies, including performing software and application development, installation, and upgrades.
• Develops and administers instructions and/or conducts training for system users on operating systems, relational databases, and other applications; assists users in maximizing the use of networks and computing systems.
• Will be one of the company's primary points of contact for all computer-based operating systems and programs (e.g. ERP/MRP, WebEx, SolidWorks, Office 365, etc).
• Assists in maintaining backup/restore and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Maintains confidentiality, availability, and integrity with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network.
• Documents network problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Maintains the inventory of all installed and spare hardware; maintains an inventory of all software.
• Assist and support necessary compliance activities (e.g., ensure that cyber system security configurations guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring occurs). • Continuously validate the organization against cybersecurity policies/guidelines/procedures/regulations/laws to ensure compliance. • Ensure that plans of action and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc. • Recognize a possible security violation and take appropriate action to report the incident, as required. • Help lead and align information technology (IT) security priorities with the security strategy. • Provide information security support to government programs and various lines of business within the company as needed. Education and Experience: Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or other job-related fields, plus five years of BS and 5 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows operating system: configuration, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory • Experience working in a classified computing environment
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: • Possess a DoD 8570.01-M IAM I baseline certification (e.g. CompTIA Security ).
• Experience as a Systems Administrator, ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM implementing DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), NIST 800-53 / Risk Management Framework (RMF), and/or Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)/NIST SP 800-171 requirements.
