Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis of patients.
Duties:
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographic images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients and adjust equipment for taking X-rays following established procedures.
- Ensure radiation safety measures are followed to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT
- Experience with PET scans, sonography, CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology is preferred.
- BLS/ACLS
