Summary of Responsibilities:

Manages and performs equipment maintenance, repair, inventory, and training.

Essential Functions:

• Manages equipment and tool access, scheduling, security, and training.
• Manages warranty, maintenance, inventory, and repair of equipment.
• Receives, sets up, installs, and manages new equipment.
• Manages and trains staff and students to successfully operate equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to operate a wide variety of typical makerspace equipment and tools as well as materials and media typically in both industrial and arts applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of typical makerspace functions, designs, and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse array of public clients in a workspace.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative, team environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent by hire date.
• Three (3) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
