Job Summary:
As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the production schedule to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including production, logistics, quality, and procurement, to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a production schedule based on production capacity, resource availability, and customer demands.
Collaborate with production team to understand production requirements and constraints.
Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to the schedule.
Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments.
Optimize the use of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to achieve production targets.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or issues and discuss with sales when applicable.
Generate regular reports on production performance and efficiency.
Proactively address scheduling conflicts or issues to prevent disruptions in production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find solutions to challenges.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in production scheduling.
Implement best practices to enhance overall production planning.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant documentation and reporting standards.
Work directly alongside the production fabricators at times.
Communicate often with the neighboring departments on relevant topics.
Education:
Associate degree, relevant experience, or combination of both

Requirements and Skills:
Proven work experience as a production coordinator or similar role
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multitask.
Strong Communication Skills
Experience with administrative tasks.
