Unico Government Solutions is looking for experienced forklift operators for our Washington, DC location.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare products and materials for shipment
• Load, unload, and stage products and materials
• Track and record units of materials handled
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures for a forklift operator
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner at all times to ensure product quality and safety
• Greet and assist employees when arriving
• Other duties as assigned
• Move and or/ arrange office furniture, equipment and appliances on an as-needed basis
• Maintian accurate vehicle maintenance logs, ensuring vehicles are adequateky maintained.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience (1-2 years) a plus but not required
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
• Forklift Operator Class A forklift certification is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
