Job Summary

Requires a high-energy, results oriented, full-time employee who is responsible for pouring cast urethane and performing other general activities in a manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule

• 8 hour shift (Days 7:00am – 3:30pm)(Afternoon 3:00pm – 11:30pm)(Midnight 3:00am – 11:30am)

Function Specific Activities

• Ability to learn and process quality cast urethane products
• Lift and pour 5 gallon buckets of material into different mold designs
• Transfer urethane products from tables to large walk-in ovens
• Operate rubber compression molding or plastic injection molding press as necessary
• Set press operation conditions according to established procedure
• Load rubber raw material into press per established procedure as necessary
• Remove and inspect molded parts at completion of cycle
• Assists in maintenance of equipment, tools, & facility as needed to ensure production is effective
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Support packaging of finished product and materials
• Inspect and sort nonconforming product as needed

General Activities

• Provide an example to all employees for quality work, honesty, integrity, and safety
• Perform highly repetitive operations to assemble and pack assemblies in prescribed packaging
• Visually scan parts for quality defects before packing, applying labels, and packing on skids
• Follow established procedures to reject nonconforming product.
• Performs other work as assigned by the supervisor or as necessary.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma

Related Work Experience

• Prior press operating experience preferred
• Minimum of one-year prior manufacturing experience preferred
