Job Description

As a Regional Manager, you will oversee franchise restaurants’ day to day operations while assisting all restaurant leadership teams in training for new restaurant openings, rollouts, local marketing efforts and seasonal menu changes. The Regional Manager is a true leader amongst their peers and a committed developer of people. In this role you will be in charge of providing an exceptional guest experience, be a mentor to the franchise restaurants leadership teams, and manage FOH and BOH operations. This position will continue to grow as our company does and is integral to our continued growth & success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain a culture in the assigned restaurants where teammates have the opportunity to gain experience and grow to become future leaders.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train the right talent for franchise restaurant leadership teams.
  • Quickly improve or remove low performers through coaching and documentation.
  • Motivate, inspire, and challenge their team to consistently achieve and surpass company goals and standards.
  • Control labor costs by reviewing schedules in a timely manner, efficient staffing, and watching labor daily.
  • Control food cost by working with the restaurant leadership teams on processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage operational/financial targets to meet or exceed budgeted expectations including guest service results, sales, labor, food costs & waste, and other costs of goods sold such as paper products.
  • Understand how to build on restaurant sales through execution of company marketing tactics, local/grassroot marketing efforts, and promotional programs.
  • Facilitate training classes and seminars.
  • Enforce training and development of the restaurant teams.
  • Communicate with the restaurant leadership teams on all operational issues.
  • Provide leadership role for new restaurant openings.
  • Live and represent the 322 Hospitality Group mission day in and day out.
  • Travel to all restaurant locations on a consistent basis monitoring and conducting all the above duties and responsibilities.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years in restaurant management required.
  • 1-2 years multi-unit experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • High level of hospitality knowledge and experience.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Desire to learn and develop internally.
  • Enjoy and thrive working in demanding environments.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a purpose.
  • Successfully communicate to serve as a role model to the restaurant teams.
  • Strong background in training and development.
  • The ability to work shoulder to shoulder with the restaurant teams.
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work 50 hours a week, including nights and weekends if the job tasks at hand demand for it.
  • Must be accessible and available during restaurant operating hours.
  • Ability to travel on a consistent basis.
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time, lift, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to health food code and labor laws.
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)

JOB LOCATION:

  • This job will be based out of the 322 Hospitality Group office located in Grand Forks, ND.
  • This role requires extensive traveling to all franchise restaurant locations and working in the restaurants.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role requires extensive traveling to all franchise restaurant locations and working in the restaurants on a weekly basis.
  • 60% of work will be in restaurants, 40% of work is office work. These percentages can vary depending on new restaurant openings, leadership changes, new training sessions, and more.

SALARY:

$70,000.00 benefits
