Momentum ITSMA is Hiring a B2B Marketing Strategist Near Boston, MA

About this Role

This position is a client-facing consulting role integral to the delivery of consulting and advisory engagements. Key responsibilities include shaping growth strategies, leading workshops, running discovery processes, oversight and management of client engagements and collaboration with clients.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be comfortable leading engagements that are tied directly to measurable business outcomes. Your prior experience will give you confidence, clarity, and perspective to guide stakeholders in the development and implementation of integrated account development, client marketing and account-based go-to-market programs. 

You thrive on setting a vision and owning the responsibility of making it happen. You find energy and excitement in the challenge of partnering with enterprise marketing and sales leaders and their teams, to develop, execute and orchestrate multi-faceted client growth programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead consulting engagements that span from initial discovery, diagnostic to strategy development, program design, development, and value realization.

Delivery Excellence 

  • Own project discovery, diagnostic and assessment activities such as client data analysis and insight development, content analysis, technology assessments, and gap analysis. 
  • Design and facilitate client workshops (virtual/hybrid/in-person), lead organizational readiness assessments, guide account segmentation and prioritization initiatives, develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct interviews with senior marketing and sales leaders, members across their revenue teams and end customers. 
  • Develop value propositions, messaging, engagement, and content strategies.
  • Oversee and collaborate practice team members, and clients to develop high quality programs and content, original research studies, and insightful thought leadership programs.

Leadership 

  • Originate innovative solutions that leverage data, technology, and creativity.
  • Partner with internal and client teams to deliver marketing and sales enablement via customized advisory, learning and development programs.
  • Enable client-side marketing and sales teams through ongoing program orchestration, management, and measurement.
  • Champion rigorous standards in project scoping, management, and quality, ensuring timely, profitable delivery of consulting and advisory assignments.
  • Ensure success of delivery from diagnostic through the implementation. 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Ensure a fantastic client experience by demonstrating excellent leadership skills. 
  • Cultivate trusted client partnerships through the quality of your thinking, proactive and responsive delivery of consulting and advisory work.
  • Own the responsibility of gathering, synthesizing, and maintaining a rich set of insights around a portfolio of clients, their business environments, challenges, and growth contexts, to inform future consulting and advisory delivery.
  • Work closely with the practice to support account expansion and relationship development through client workshops, presentations, ideation, and proposal development.

Prior experience requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing strategy, consulting, or enterprise B2B marketing practitioner role; for example, working inhouse as marketing advisor, B2B strategist or planner, go-to-market management consultant or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in own critical thinking and ability to reduce large volumes of information into clear action plans.
  • Proficient in the use of modern tools and technologies for virtual meetings, discovery, and analysis activities.
  • Demonstrated capability in proactive enterprise B2B client management and relationship development. 
  • Consulting and/or marketing strategy project/program scoping, budgeting, and management experience.

Salary Range

  • $120,000 - $150,000 (USD)
