Responsibilities: Full-time position for Clinical Counselor working in the Treatment Division. Work may be in the office and at a local doctor's office, working primarily with children and teens. Duties include but are not limited to: provide orientation, intake, assessment, crisis management, case management, individualized treatment plans, clinical placement of clients, and counseling to clients of all ages including adolescents, adults, and families. Experience in facilitating individual therapy and group therapy preferred. Utilization of evidenced-based treatment philosophies in addressing behavioral, substance-based and/or co-occurring issues is required..
Special Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills to reflect appropriate clinical records and documentation. Efficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and EHR systems.
Requirements: Master’s degree in the human services field from an accredited college/university is required. Must be able to clearly articulate a best practice treatment philosophy as well as a clear understanding of the biopsychosocial assessment process. Must be certified as an Addictions Counselor by SCAADAC within three years of hire date. Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience in clinical counseling to include group counseling.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and credentials. Salary ranges from $38,000 to $50,000.
