Meeting Street is a special place of learning, where children of all abilities have the opportunities to reach their fullest potential.Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Nurse (Per Diem).Duties:Maintains the health and well-being of the students during the school hours for all daily issues as well as responding al emergency situations.Administers medications and performs nursing procedures ordered by the physician to be given during school hours including but not limited to G-Tube feedings, catheterizations, respiratory treatments, dialysis, dressing changes, wound care, trach care and suctioning, etc.Performs ongoing health status evaluations and medication/treatment reviews to identify health needs and potential problems.Documents all nursing care and changes in a student’s health status.Communicates timely updates to parents, teachers and therapy staff regarding health concerns or changes in the health status of the student.Meeting Street believes the dignity of each person is paramount.
