Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Project Lead will work to improve the overall efficiency of the facilities by optimizing the different processes relating to production.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE JOB
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing in a job-shop type environment
- Ability to measure and analyze data to drive continuous improvement
- Knowledge and application of Lean tools and methodologies
- Ability to report-out, influence and lead the company leadership team
- Have leadership skills to successfully lead projects from beginning to end
- Organizational ability to work independently and coordinate work with various departments
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress
Responsabilités
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position is required
- Bachelor degree in engineering / equivalent is preferred
- 6 Sigma (Black belt), A3 certified, 5S, Kaizen event leader and /or other official lean training would be an asset
- Experience in cell optimization and visual management preferred
- Blow molding or other plastic processing experience preferred
- Excellent team leadership skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- This is a hands on role with a lot of interaction with plant personnel
