Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using hotel management software systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality and hotel operations is desirable
