Consistently displays a friendly demeanor while providing guest service and exhibiting professional conflict management in various environments. This is an occasional position. The pay rate for this role is $20/hr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Must prioritize compliance and diligence in accordance with VT DLC regulations to verify age of guests Maintains security by monitoring the movement of people in and out of designated event locations, upon entry and thereafter Provide exceptional guest service in various environments and always maintains a positive demeanor Responsible for tent, table, linen, and signage setup as needed for events in a timely fashion to be prepared before doors open Responsible for securing additional materials such as wristbands, ID Verification Books, etc. in a timely fashion to be prepared before doors open May be required to use a POS system to place orders and process payments in accordance with Cash Handling Policy Redirects guests with confidence and with proficient knowledge of all locations on the resort Always maintains a clean and presentable work environment Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily- reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Ability to lift and walk with at least 30 pounds Excellent communication skills Self-motivated Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to follow directions Computer skills Flexible work schedule that include early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Food Service Environment: Most work tasks are performed in indoor/outdoor environments. Temperature is not controlled in all work environments, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length at a time over an average shift of 8 hours. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Frequently required to climb or balance and taste or smell. Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
