Job description
At the Discount Vending Store, our experienced team provides innovative vending machines which are customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. We have been in business for 17 years and are growing fast in this new and exciting market.
We are seeking a part-time, Digital Marketing Manager. The candidate must be a passionate, self-motivated learner, with a sense of urgency for achieving results, a strong work ethic and be someone who takes pride in their work. We need a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess experience in the following areas:
· SEO
· Marketing
· Social Media Marketing
· Blogging
· Technical Writing
· Website Maintenance
· Public Relations
· Video Editing
The candidate must have experience with Marketing/Sales strategies and PR, Blogs, Video, and Social Media channels. such as; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and creating YouTube videos to increase company exposure.
The candidate must have experience creating new content and maintaining websites using WordPress; including page updates and redesign, analytics evaluation to identify top performing pages using keywords, creation of advanced content, link building initiatives. Experience with creating blogs and copywriting / editing, finding content online that pertains to product and writing content is also required.
Experience using all Adobe products, but especially Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be required. Experience in Wordpress would also be required.
Experience coding html, css, java, javascript, and php is required.
SEO experience to include: Performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization (traffic, rankings, conversions). Remaining current with all search engine algorithm changes and SEO industry trends. Data-driven SEO analysis and familiarity with reporting/tracking tools. SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adwords, Google My Business and webmaster tools. Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
Schedule:
The anticipated hours would be approximately 25-30 hours per week but may grow into a full time position. The hours and schedule is flexible but the ideal hours would be during our normal working hours of Mon- Fri 8-5.
Experience:
· Digital marketing: 5 years (Minimum)
· College / Marketing degree preferable.
Work Location: This is a hybrid position with work from home and office available.
