All For Health Hospice Care is Hiring a Hospice Volunteer Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Hospice Volunteer. As a Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by providing support and assistance in various areas. This is a non-paid position, but has reimbursements for costs, fuel, milage.

Duties:
- Assist with senior care activities, such as companionship, meal preparation, and medication reminders, and or entertainment
- Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) for individuals who require assistance
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being in a residential care setting
- Support social work initiatives by providing assistance with client interactions
- Provide caregiving support to individuals in need, including those with disabilities or chronic illnesses
- Assist with hospice care by offering companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Provide direct support to individuals in need, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
- Assist with patient care tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and providing comfort measures

Experience:
- Previous experience in any of the following areas is preferred: senior care, resident rights advocacy, social work, caregiving, hospice care, direct support, patient care
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team

Note: This is an unpaid volunteer position.
