The ideal candidate has specific experience in the glass/glazing industry, but for the right candidate we are willing to provide training.

Position Overview:

  • Title: Field Services Manager (Glazier/Installations Team)
  • Department: Field Operations
  • Location: Chatsworth, CA and Various Jobsites
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary Range: $70k - $89k DOE (candidates seeking to be on the higher end of this offer must have extensive glazing experience as well as excellent team management skills).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our field service team, both in-office and on-site, ensuring optimal performance and seamless operations.
  • Schedule installations and efficiently manage labor for each installation.
  • Collaborate closely with our operations team to maintain efficiency and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Collaborate with the estimator and project manager to ensure accuracy in quotes and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of job sites to uphold quality standards and keep our team aligned with project objectives.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Navigate challenges with poise and professionalism, maintaining team morale and project momentum.
  • Embrace change as an opportunity for growth, consistently prioritizing the needs of our team and embodying our company values.
  • Possess the ability to effectively coordinate with other trades on the job site, facilitating smooth collaboration and communication.
  • Exercise sound judgment in hiring and termination decisions, ensuring our team is comprised of individuals who embody our organizational values and culture.
  • Attend and meaningfully contribute to leadership meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction, with special preference to glazing.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of effectively managing teams.
  • A commitment to personal and professional growth, with a willingness to adapt to evolving challenges and opportunities.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with superintendent responsibilities would be advantageous.
