Montauk Lodge is Hiring a Maintenance Utility Near Salem, MO
This is a seasonal role with an estimated start date of February 20th, 2023, and an anticipated end date of 10/31/2023. :
Maintenance Utility:
Summary: The Maintenance Utility associate is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings and grounds on the property. These duties include, but are not limited to: landscaping maintenance, handling of recyclables, ensuring cleanliness and appropriate stocking of supplies for restrooms
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment in a safe and timely manner when directed by management
- Ensure that grounds are always neat and well maintained, by utilizing mowers, trimmers, and other appliances in a safe and effective manner as necessary and directed
- Ensure recycling efforts are consistent, on-time and handled according to the company’s environmental processes
- Ensure that all public areas, specifically restrooms, are always properly sanitized and cleaned while maintaining adequate stock of required supplies
- Regularly inspect the business grounds and building to identify maintenance needs and report to them to manager
- Actively participate in creating a positive work environment and promote teamwork
- Maintain customer service standards responding to all requests / complaints to minimize / solve problems in a timely and safe manner
- Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
- All other duties as may be assigned
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks with little or no supervision
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment. Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license for operating a company vehicle
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Two (2) years facility maintenance experience
