Toes on the Nose is Hiring a Retail Store Manager Near San Juan Capistrano, CA
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at our newest location in San Juan Capistrano. As the Retail Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the store's operations, including customer service, sales performance, staff management, and inventory control. Leading by example, you'll foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring a memorable shopping experience while cultivating brand loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase store profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the store is properly merchandised and maintained to company standards.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the store.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are adequately stocked to meet customer demand.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to support their development and growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives and targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive shopping experiences.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and POS systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), evenings and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
