Job Description:

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as 2nd shift Tugger/Pickers for Sequencing Operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, sequencing, and moving production parts using tugger equipment within the facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure each production line receives the necessary parts in a timely and organized manner, preventing disruptions to the automotive industry line.

2nd shift Tugger Responsibilities:

• Tugger Operation: Safely operate tugger equipment to transport carts of materials within the facility, ensuring the timely delivery of parts to production lines.
• Picking and Sequencing: Utilize tugger equipment to accurately pick and sequence production parts based on order requirements, contributing to a seamless workflow for each production line.
• Efficient Material Movement: Maintain a high level of efficiency in tugger operations to prevent disruptions to automotive industry lines, adhering to production schedules and deadlines.
• Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating tugger equipment and moving materials, prioritizing a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Tugger Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on tugger equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to ensure the continuous operational effectiveness of tugger activities.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing clear communication on any issues, delays, or challenges that may impact production schedules and require tugger interventions.
• Organization: Keep work areas clean and organized, contributing to an efficient and streamlined production process facilitated by tugger operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, especially involving tugger operations, is preferred.
• Proficient ability to operate tugger equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and sequencing of production parts using tugger technology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, especially in tugger-related tasks.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and protocols related to tugger activities.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, particularly in the context of tugger-assisted material movement.
