Mendon Truck Leasing and Rental, a branch of PETIT FORESTIER GROUP, a full-service leasing and rental company, is searching for a full-time Service Advisor to be responsible for supporting the Service and Branch Manager in performing inventory, parts ordering and restocking, repair orders and customer service.

This position reports to the Service Manager. This position is on-site at our Hunts Point, Bronx location.

Responsibilities :

• Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
• Assist during the initial training and evaluation of personnel (mechanics).
• Obtain initial vehicle information and check the vehicle into the workshop and system. Create a work order for needed repairs.
• Give a complete and accurate written cost estimate for parts and labor.
• Assure effective communication with customers, foreman and technicians.
• Perform inventory, order parts needed for the branch and reconcile cash receipts.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign associates to specific duties.
• Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by Branch Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Shop, office, yards, and vehicle environments, may require lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least one year of shop experience (truck or automotive)
• A Valid Driver's License
• Communication : Communicates well, has good listening skills

Compensation : $58,000 to $62,000 5% annual bonus based on Branch's profitability performance
